Identity Card Lost. What To Do?
You have to file an FIR in your nearest police station.
Then enclose copy of this FIR with the form of id card. To download this form for change of AMIE identity card
Fee is Rs. 300/- (By DD).
Roll Number Announced But Identity Card Not Received So Far. What to do?
If you do not get id card then do the following: Download form of AMIE Identity card undertaking, fill it and bring it with you in exam centre with an additional photograph and Xerox of identity (such as vote card or license or PAN or employment id card etc.)
What If One Forgets To Bring My AMIE Identity Card In AMIE Exam Hall?
If you do not find id card then do the following: Bring your two passport size photographs and an identity (original and Xerox) (such as original PAN card, Vote identity, Employment id, License etc) to officials of your local/exam centre. They will issue you provisional permission to appear in exams.

What should I do if I do not get identity card?
For non-receipt of Photo Identity Card, ST members are advised to visit IEI website and check the lists of undelivered Photo Identity Cards (ST membership) and undelevered photo identity card (corporate membership i.e. AM, M, F membership).
How to aply for duplicate identity card?
For duplicate Identity Card ( ST members), please apply on prescribed proforma.
Requisite fee is duplicate identity card (for ST members) ₹ 300/- in India/Nepal; US $ 30 (SAARC and other countries). For Corporate Members ₹ 354/-(including GST) in India/Nepal; US $ 50 (SAARC and other countries).
Would I be permitted to appear in AMIE exams without identity card?
No. You must have both identity card as weel as admit card.
Is it true that if my identity card is lost then to apply for new identity card, I must first register an FIR in nearest police station?
Yes, this is true. Also, you must send original FIR alongwith requisite fee and form to IEI. Keep Xerox of FIR with you.
